Quack
Quack is a free and open-source chat application designed for private use. Although it doesn't have any unique features, it combines the best features from other communicators. Quack prioritizes privacy and security by allowing users to host their own app, ensuring that they have complete control over their data.
I am the only designer working on the app, which means my responsibilities include full-stack UX / UI services. That includes taking care of design system library (Soon to be published as open-source), prototyping and branding. The project is constantly in progress, I'm currently working on UX flows for micro-procesess of app functionalities.

Software author at first decided to plan UI and branding by themselves, at first I've proposed light lifting of braincloud logo, then we've decided for more radical changes, the pixel duck I've originally used as a funny placeholder happened to work good as an app icon.
Changes I've at the beggining of our cooperation also included micro- and macrotypography, lifting the layout, line height and proportions of the components, which itself made a huge change. Then we've proceeded to work on entire design system and information architecture, which, I hope, I will be able to share soon.
